I  Training Objectives
The major is to train the person to have the basic and professional theoretical knowledge and application ability in the field of electrician, electronics, power electronics, information controlling, computers and mechanical design, and have the ability to solve the technology problem of electrical engineering and automation, also the ability of the scientific research. To have the innovation and have the ability to work in the field of motor and control, electrical and control, power system and automation, high voltage and insulation technology, power electronics and power drives, and electrical automatic control and detection, to train the person to be the advanced engineering and technical person with higher overall quality.
II  Basic Requirement
1．To master certain knowledge of Chinese and understanding of the general Chinese culture.
2．To master the basic knowledge of the natural scientific like mathematics and physics, and ability of English solidly.
3．To master the basic theoretical knowledge which is necessary in this field, including circuits basis, network theory, electromagnetic fields, analog electronics, digital electronics, power electronics technology, automatic control theory, theory of motor,  electrical science, modern detection technology, power engineering, micro-controller theory and application, high voltage engineering.
4．To master the professional knowledge and skills of one or two courses in this field.
5．To have the training of electrician, electronics, power electronics, information controlling, computers and mechanical design, and to have the ability of operating computer skillfully, also to have the better engineering practice training.
6．To have the basic ability to solve the technological problem of electrical engineering and automation, and the ability of the development of technology, scientific research and organizational management.
7．To have the ability of documents retrieval and reading, to understand the developing trend in this field.
8．To have a certain sense of the ability of self-learning and innovation.
